HA Series wall-mounted LiFePO4 battery, 2.56–10.24 kWh

Five wall-mounted modules across 25.6 V and 51.2 V, from 2.56 kWh to 10.24 kWh — the shallowest footprint in the range, for plant rooms and garage walls where floor space is already gone.

Where the HA fits

The HA is the module to specify when there is a wall and no floor. At 139 mm deep on the 2.56 kWh unit and 230 mm on the largest, it hangs above a generator, a water heater or a stack of moving boxes — the three things that usually occupy a residential plant room.

Two voltages are offered because the market is split. Most new hybrid inverters are 48 V and take the 51.2 V modules; a large installed base of 24 V off-grid inverters, telecom rectifiers and small UPS units still runs on 25.6 V. Carrying both in one series means a distributor can cover both without a second product family.

Sizing the bank

A single module suits a load-shedding or backup application: lights, router, fridge and a few sockets. For daily solar cycling, size on usable energy, not nameplate — plan 80–90 % depth of discharge and leave headroom for cold mornings. Two 51.2 V 200 Ah modules give 20.5 kWh nameplate, about 17 kWh usable, which covers a typical three-bedroom house with a heat pump for a night and a cloudy morning.

Installation and protection

The bracket is fixed to a masonry or timber-stud wall with the supplied anchors; the module must be vertical, with 100 mm clearance above for the terminal cover. Keep the DC cable run under three metres where possible, and fit the DC breaker between battery and inverter — the BMS protects cells, not wiring.

The BMS reports cell voltages, temperature and state of charge over Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, and streams the same data to the inverter over CAN or RS485. If a cell drifts, the balancer corrects it at the top of the charge cycle; if the pack runs outside temperature limits, the BMS derates charge current before it disconnects.

Key Features

  • 25.6 V and 51.2 V modules in one series — mix voltages across a site without a second SKU family
  • 2.56 kWh to 10.24 kWh per module, 100 Ah to 314 Ah
  • Built-in intelligent BMS with over-charge, over-discharge, over-current, short-circuit and over-temperature protection
  • Bluetooth and Wi-Fi as standard, plus CAN and RS485 for the inverter
  • Wall bracket included; 139 mm deep on the smallest module
  • LCD status display and LED indicators
  • Grade A LiFePO4 cells, mechanically matched before assembly
  • UN38.3 test report and MSDS supplied with every shipment

Applications

Hybrid solar retrofit

Hangs beside an existing hybrid inverter in a garage or utility room, replacing a lead-acid bank at a third of the weight.

Off-grid cabin and telecom site

25.6 V models suit small DC systems and 24 V telecom equipment; 51.2 V models suit 48 V plants.

Floor-space-limited plant rooms

139–230 mm deep, so the battery goes on the wall above equipment that cannot be moved.

FAQ

Which voltage should I take, 25.6 V or 51.2 V?
Match the inverter's battery input. 48 V hybrid inverters take the 51.2 V modules; 24 V systems and small off-grid inverters take the 25.6 V modules. The two voltages cannot be mixed in one string.
Can I parallel several HA modules?
Yes — modules of the same voltage and capacity can be paralleled to raise capacity. Keep the cable lengths equal and set the addresses before commissioning; we supply the parallel kit and the address table.
Will the BMS talk to my inverter?
For the common hybrid inverters, yes — the protocol is loaded at the factory. Send the inverter make and model when you order, and we will confirm the CAN or RS485 setting before the units ship.
What is the cycle life and warranty?
The cells are rated for 6,000+ cycles at 80 % depth of discharge. The module carries a 5-year warranty, with a 10-year design life at moderate cycling and 25 °C ambient.
