HB Stacked Battery

Capacity that grows with the load: 51.2 V modules that stack on one base, with the busbar and BMS addressing already sized for four positions.

The stacked format solves the most common residential complaint about storage: the system was sized for last year's load.

Because the busbar and BMS addressing are designed for four positions from the start, an HB installation can begin at 5.12 kWh and finish at 20.5 kWh — or at 64 kWh with the 314 Ah module — without replacing the inverter, the breaker or the DC cabling. The expansion is a purchase of one module and one busbar kit.

The same platform is used for off-grid systems, where daily cycling is deeper and the discharge current matters more than the nameplate energy. The 200 A continuous rating covers a well pump start on a 5 kW inverter without tripping.

HB Stacked Battery — frequently asked questions

Stack or wall-mount?
Stack if the load will grow and there is floor area; wall-mount if the floor is taken. Both use the same cells and BMS family, so the choice is mechanical, not electrical.
What holds the modules together?
A steel base with anti-slip pads and a bolted inter-module busbar behind a removable cover. No tools are needed to inspect a module once the cover is off.
Can stacks be paralleled?
Yes, up to four stacks in parallel on one inverter, with the master stack providing the inverter communication.
