INV Off-Grid Hybrid Inverter

The battery-based workhorse of the range: six power classes, three battery voltages, and a solar charger already inside the box.

The off-grid hybrid inverter is the least glamorous product in a solar catalogue and the one that decides whether an installation works. It has to start a pump, ride through a grid dip, charge from whatever source is available and keep doing it for a decade in a shed.

The INV series covers 1.2 kW to 10.5 kW on 12, 24 and 48 V batteries, with a 100 A MPPT charger built in. The topology is shared across the range, so an installer who has commissioned one model has commissioned them all — the difference is battery voltage and current rating.

Where the series earns its place is surge. A 200 % peak for ten seconds is not a marketing figure; it is the difference between starting a 1 hp well pump and watching the inverter trip to fault.

INV Off-Grid Hybrid Inverter — frequently asked questions

Which model for a normal house?
A 5 kW model on 48 V, with 9 kW of PV and a 10–15 kWh battery bank. That covers a heat pump, a well pump and normal house loads.
Does it support lithium batteries?
Yes, with the protocol loaded at the factory — Pylontech, GoodWe, Deye, Growatt and others. Send the battery model when ordering.
What is the idle consumption?
About 30–60 W depending on model, which matters for small off-grid systems. Size the array to cover it in winter.
