Why a lithium battery UPS
A lithium (LiFePO4) UPS occupies about one-third the space of an equivalent lead-acid system and delivers 3–5x the cycle life — typically 1,200+ cycles with a float-charge life beyond 10 years. The built-in battery is maintenance-free, charges faster, tolerates higher ambient temperatures, and holds ≥30 minutes of full-load backup in a single cabinet.
HighIdea ET-series units pair Class A LiFePO4 cells with DSP digital control and a battery management system engineered for high-current charging, eliminating the low-current protection shutdowns that plague generic lithium conversions.
How to choose within the range
- Tower or rack: tower (ET1-3K) for offices and labs; rack-mount (ET1-3KR, ET1-6KRS) for server cabinets and data racks.
- Built-in or external battery: built-in models integrate everything in one cabinet; external-battery rack models (ET1-10KRS, ET6-10KRS PRO) scale runtime by adding battery packs.
- Runtime target: built-in models hold 30–40 minutes at full load; long-duration external configurations can extend several-fold.
- Output voltage: 220/230/240Vac standard; 100–127Vac versions are listed under 100V/110V/120V UPS.
All models support OEM/ODM customization of battery capacity, runtime, communication options (SNMP, Modbus, dry contacts) and branding.
