HI Floor-Standing Battery

900 mm wide, 175 mm deep, IP65 — a battery that fits under a window or against an outside wall, where a cabinet would not go.

Outdoor storage is usually an afterthought in residential design: the inverter goes outside because the cable run is shorter, and then the battery has to follow.

The HI is built for that sequence. At 175 mm deep it fits the strip of wall beside a door or under a window, and the IP65 enclosure means it does not need a plant room. The 200 A BMS matches a 10 kW inverter, which is the size most outdoor whole-house systems land on.

The installation rule that matters is drainage. Water enters through glands, not through the enclosure, so mount on a plinth and bring cables in from below with a drip loop. Do that and the rating holds for a decade; skip it and the first autumn storm finds the terminals.

HI Floor-Standing Battery — frequently asked questions

Is IP65 enough for coastal sites?
For salt haze and rain on a sheltered wall, yes. For direct sea spray, add an outdoor cabinet and inspect the glands annually.
Can it stand on bare ground?
No. Use a 100 mm plinth or a concrete pad, and keep the bottom gland clear of standing water.
How is it anchored?
Two wall brackets at the rear top edge plus four floor feet. Anchor the wall brackets where the site has seismic requirements or where vehicles pass.
