US-S / US-R Split-Phase Inverter

Two live legs, a neutral that carries the imbalance, and a CT that keeps the utility happy — a split-phase inverter built for the North American panel.

The US market is where split-phase faults are most common, and most of them come from treating a 120/240 V panel as if it were a 230 V single-phase panel.

The US-S/US-R series lands L1, L2, N and PE separately, carries the neutral imbalance, and tolerates the surge of a well pump or an air conditioner. The anti-reflux CT is supplied rather than optional, because a zero-export requirement is the norm rather than the exception in that market.

The battery-free option is worth noting in quotations: it lets a customer install PV now and add storage later, which often closes a sale that a battery-included quote would lose.

US-S / US-R Split-Phase Inverter — frequently asked questions

Which models are 120 V only?
All models produce 120/240 V split-phase; the US-S4000-24 is the entry model at 4 kW. Choose on surge load and battery voltage.
Is a neutral required?
Yes. The inverter needs L1, L2, N and PE, with the neutral sized for the maximum leg imbalance.
Can it be paralleled with a generator?
It accepts a generator on the AC input, with charge current programmable so the generator is not overloaded.
