HB Series stacked LiFePO4 battery, 5.12–16.08 kWh
A 51.2 V module designed to be stacked: start at 5.12 kWh and add modules as the load grows, without changing the inverter or the wiring topology.

Storage that arrives in stages
Most residential storage is bought twice: once when the system is installed, and again when the family adds an EV or a heat pump. The HB is built around that second purchase. Every stack position carries the same 51.2 V busbar, the same BMS addressing scheme and the same case footprint per capacity class, so adding a module is a mechanical operation rather than a redesign.
Stack geometry and cable routing
Modules sit on a steel base with anti-slip pads; the inter-module busbar is bolted behind a removable cover, and the DC output is taken from the bottom module. Keep the stack against a wall for stability and leave 200 mm above the top module — the terminal cover hinges upward.
Because the stack is floor-standing, the load path goes into the floor rather than the wall. On a suspended timber floor, put the stack over a joist or a spreader plate; 234 kg concentrated on four feet is not a problem on a concrete slab and is a problem on a floating floor.
BMS behaviour in a stack
The master module polls the slaves over an internal bus, sums the state of charge and presents a single battery to the inverter. If one module goes offline — a cell group out of balance, an over-temperature, a loose busbar — the master reports reduced capacity rather than dropping the whole string, which keeps the site running until someone attends.
Key Features
- 51.2 V across the series — 100, 206, 280 and 314 Ah
- 5.12 kWh to 16.08 kWh per stack position, expandable in the field
- Stacking base and inter-module busbar allow capacity growth without rewiring
- Built-in intelligent BMS, 100–200 A charge and discharge
- Bluetooth and Wi-Fi as standard; CAN and RS485 to the inverter
- Over-charge, over-discharge, over-current, short-circuit and over-temperature protection
- 5-year warranty, 20-year design life on the LiFePO4 cells
- Floor-standing stack keeps weight off the wall
Applications
Staged residential storage
Buy 5 kWh now and add a module next year — the base, busbar and BMS addressing are already sized for four.
Off-grid solar
Deep daily cycling at 51.2 V, with the discharge current to run a well pump or workshop load.
Small commercial backup
Two or three stacks in parallel cover a shop, clinic or small office through an outage.
