INW Series grid-interactive hybrid inverter, 3.3–10.5 kW
The INV's grid-interactive sibling: IP54, feed-in to the grid, generator input, and the same 3.3–10.5 kW range for sites that sell power back.

Export changes the design
Once an inverter can export, the utility's requirements arrive with it: a grid code, an anti-islanding test, a power factor setting, and often a limit on export current. The INW carries those settings in firmware, selected at commissioning from a country list.
Mechanically, the INW is the outdoor-rated version of the INV platform — IP54 instead of an open chassis, with a sealed cable entry and a UV-stable cover. That lets it mount on an outside wall next to the array rather than in a plant room.
Generator hybrid
On sites with a diesel generator, the INW uses the generator as a charge source rather than a permanent supply: the generator runs at its efficient point to charge the battery, then stops, and the inverter supplies the load from the battery. That cycle typically cuts fuel use by 30–50 % against continuous generator running, and it cuts engine hours, which is the larger maintenance cost.
Parallel and phase balance
Up to nine units parallel on one phase. On a single-phase supply that is usually done for capacity, but it is also done for resilience: three units in parallel, one fails, the site keeps running at reduced capacity.
Key Features
- 3.3 kW to 10.5 kW, 24 V and 48 V battery
- Grid feed-in as well as self-consumption
- IP54 enclosure for semi-outdoor installation
- Built-in 100 A MPPT solar charger, 40–450 V window
- Generator input, with programmable charge current
- Parallel up to 9 units
- Dual AC output and LCD display
- Wi-Fi monitoring, lithium battery activation
Applications
Residential self-consumption with export
Runs the house from PV first, charges the battery, then exports the surplus under the local feed-in tariff.
Generator-hybrid sites
Accepts a diesel generator on the AC input, reducing generator hours by cycling the battery instead.
Small commercial
Three units in parallel cover a shop or workshop with three-phase-ish loads on single-phase supply.
