Three-phase without a high-voltage battery
Most three-phase hybrid inverters in this power class expect a high-voltage battery — 100 V to 800 V — which means a stack, a high-voltage BMS and a different safety regime. The TP LV-A takes a 48 V battery instead, which keeps it in the same ecosystem as the single-phase range.
The trade-off is current. At 48 V, 12 kW is 250 A, which is why the charge and discharge rating is 250 A and why the DC cable is heavier than a high-voltage equivalent. In exchange, the installer is working with a battery they already know.
Unbalanced output
Real three-phase installations are not balanced: one phase carries the lights, another the heat pump, a third the workshop. An inverter that insists on balanced output either trips or derates. The TP LV-A supplies each phase independently within its limit, which is the behaviour a farm or a workshop actually needs.
PV and generator
Two MPPT channels take 15 kW or 30 kW of PV depending on model, and the generator input covers the winter weeks when the array cannot keep up. Six charge windows let the site use a time-of-use tariff where one exists.
Key Features
- 12 kW and 15 kW three-phase output, 380/400 V, 3W+N+PE
- 48 V battery — no high-voltage battery stack required
- Unbalanced output across the three phases
- 250 A maximum charge and discharge current
- Two MPPT channels, 15 kW and 30 kW PV input
- IP66 enclosure for outdoor installation
- Six configurable charge and discharge windows
- Generator input and smart-load support
Applications
Three-phase houses
A house with a three-phase supply and a heat pump gets balanced output without a high-voltage battery.
Workshops and farms
Three-phase motors, welders and pumps run directly from the inverter, with the battery covering peak demand.
Small commercial
Up to 6 units parallel for 72–90 kW, with unbalanced output matching real single-phase loads.
