The H Series 1-3kVA is the compact end of HighIdea's online DC-AC range. It is an advanced online sine-wave system with complete isolation between the AC and DC sides, designed to supply precision equipment from a station or telecom battery bank without a break.

Design notes

Full double conversion means the load is always fed by the inverter, so sags, surges and generator ripple on the AC side never reach it, and switching between DC and mains takes 0 ms. The isolated topology also prevents inverter switching noise from appearing on the DC bus — a requirement on power-industry DC panels where back-feed would raise insulation alarms.

Multiple DC input versions cover the main site standards: 110 / 220VDC for substations and power plants, 24 / 48VDC for telecom and base stations (and PV applications), and 240VDC for high-voltage DC equipment rooms. All versions deliver a pure sine 220Vac output in a 19-inch rack enclosure.

Configuration

Confirm the DC bus voltage, the load kVA/kW and power factor, the required autonomy and the communication interface before ordering. Battery banks can be VRLA strings or LiFePO4 packs. For higher capacities and a wide 160-300VDC window see the H 6-20k; for modular redundancy see the HM 3-15kVA.

Key Features

  • Online double conversion with a 0 ms transfer between DC and mains
  • Full galvanic AC/DC isolation and no back-feed noise into the DC bus
  • Pure sine wave 220Vac output for precision instruments

  • 19-inch rack enclosure for power and telecom cabinets
  • Automatic restart when DC or mains returns within range

Applications

Substations & power plants

110 / 220VDC station batteries feeding protection, control and monitoring loads.

Telecom & base stations

24 / 48VDC communication buses converted to clean AC for sensitive equipment.

HVDC & server rooms

240VDC high-voltage DC rooms and network cabinets needing isolated AC.

FAQ

Which DC input voltage should I order?
Match the site DC bus: 24 / 48VDC for telecom and base stations, 110 / 220VDC for utility DC panels, and 240VDC for HVDC data rooms. The voltage is configured at the factory.
Does it feed noise back into the DC bus?
No. Full AC/DC isolation and the online design eliminate back-feed noise, so DC insulation monitoring is not triggered.
What is the transfer time?
Zero milliseconds. The load runs on the inverter continuously, so a DC or mains disturbance causes no output break.
