Solar Inverters

Six inverter families covering the ways PV is actually installed — off-grid, grid-interactive, North American split-phase, European single-phase and three-phase.

Six families covering the ways solar actually gets installed: off-grid, grid-interactive, North American split-phase, European single-phase, and three-phase for farms and workshops.

  • INV — off-grid hybrid, 1.2–10.5 kW on 12/24/48 V, 200 % peak for 10 s, parallel to 9 units.
  • INW — the same platform with IP54 and grid feed-in, 3.3–10.5 kW.
  • US-S / US-R — 120/240 V split-phase, 3.6–12 kW, anti-reflux CT standard, battery-free operation option.
  • EU-A — 7.2 kW single-phase, IP66, two MPPTs, 160 A charge current.
  • EU-D — 12 kW single-phase with 15.6 kW PV input, ATS and 12-unit parallel.
  • TP LV-A — three-phase 380/400 V, 12–15 kW, unbalanced output, on a 48 V battery.

Every model carries a built-in MPPT charger, a programmable charge window and a BMS interface for LiFePO4 batteries. The grid code, the battery protocol and the export limit are all set at commissioning — which is where most commissioning problems come from, and why we ask for the battery and destination market at the quotation stage rather than at shipping.

Solar Inverters — frequently asked questions

Which inverter series fits my market?
INV is off-grid hybrid 1.2-10.5kW; INW adds IP54 and grid feed-in; US-S/US-R cover 120/240V split-phase markets; EU-A and EU-D cover European single-phase; TP LV-A is three-phase 380/400V for farms and workshops.
Can these inverters work without a battery?
Selected models, including the US-S/US-R split-phase platform, support battery-free operation. Most installations still use a LiFePO4 pack, and the inverter protocol is loaded at the factory — state the battery make and model when ordering.
Do they support parallel operation and export limiting?
Yes. Parallel capacity ranges up to 9 units on INV and 12 on EU-D, anti-reflux CT sensing is standard on split-phase models, and grid code, battery protocol and export limit are set at commissioning.
Is this the same as a power or telecom inverter?
No. Solar inverters are designed around a PV array and MPPT charger. For DC-bus-fed, galvanically isolated AC for substations and base stations, see Power & Telecom Inverters.
