PPS-GD408 / GD505 / G5000, 4–5 kW Portable Power Station, 5–16 kWh

Three model families sit on this chassis. The GD408 is a 25.6 V / 8038 Wh / 4 kW unit, the GD505 moves to 51.2 V / 5.12 kWh / 5 kW, and the G5000 extends the same 5 kW inverter to 5.12, 10.24 and 16.08 kWh battery options. All three keep four AC outlets, a 16/32 A industrial connector, 10 ms transfer and an IP54 wheeled case.

Where it fits

This is the range for small commercial backup and off-grid homes: a shop's lighting and point-of-sale, a clinic's essential circuits, a telecom field site, or a workshop that needs 230 V distribution rather than a few appliance outlets. At 16.08 kWh, a 1 kW average load runs for roughly fourteen hours.

What to check before ordering

Match the battery platform to the load profile, not just the total energy. 25.6 V units drop more voltage under high current; 51.2 V units are the better choice for sustained multi-kW output. Confirm the PV string voltage window (65–450 V on GD408/GD505, 120–450 V on G5000) and specify the 110 V G5000 build if the destination requires it.

Can several units be paralleled?

Parallel operation depends on the inverter firmware and is not a standard feature on this range. Tell us the required load and we will confirm the supported configuration.

What does 10 ms UPS transfer protect?

Computers, network equipment, instruments and most switching supplies ride through a 10 ms break. Sensitive process or medical equipment may need an online UPS instead.

Which model for a small shop?

A 5 kW / 10.24 kWh G5000 covers lighting, refrigeration and point-of-sale through a typical outage. Size it from the measured load profile rather than the floor area.

Is a 110 V version available?

Yes, the G5000 is built as a 110 V version. It is a separate part number, not a field setting.
